Hi, I’m Joseph, and welcome to the site. Since late 2019, my focus has been on building a career in the games industry as a technical artist specializing in editor and art tools. My game dev journey began with procedural textures in Substance Designer, expanded into shaders, and ultimately led to a passion for tooling. Along the way, I've worked at Quixel–Epic Games, 4DPipeline, and Quadspinner. Outside of work, my time is often spent writing music on guitar, playing video games and diving into all things sci-fi.

I started this blog as a way to openly share information regarding my own journey towards creating full scale procedural planets in Unreal, but I also would like to share tech art tutorials from time to time.
